about.
We are here today to present to you our senior project at Valencia College in Orlando, FL. After many courses completed, we are asked to show what the Bachelor of Electrical and Computer Engineering Technology (BSECET) has produced. You will be following our journey as we overcome objectives that come about during any production.

"A Success story is not such without failures." - unknown

Our generation has seen the market change in a "robotic" way. Our goal by the end of Fall 2018 is to create an fully automatic lawn mower. Ideally this unit will communicate with the consumers device for commands and run based on those ideas.

The Autonomous was introduced to the world in 1995 as a solar powered mower. As you can imagine, this device can only be active in hot summer with NO SHADE in sight and life of the battery would be little to nothing because of the power consumed in this device at that time of technology.

Now we have changed the game...

We use an cordless electric push lawn mower that will be modified and altered into an autonomous lawn mower, which is based on similar models on the market. The mower will handle the task autonomously with little user interaction required. It will have systems with precise navigation, cutting capabilities, and the ability to detect and avoid unexpected obstacles, ranging from inanimate objects that could damage the mower, to humans or animals that could be harmed themselves.
